Meetings

The General Meetings are usually held the 1st Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at a location to be announced. The Annual Meeting is held in November at a location to be announced. For more information, please contact Karen.

Classes

Handling Class

This is a drop-in class which meets Wednesday nights at 7:15 p.m. Adults are $10 per person per night; kids are free! Payment is preferred at the start of class and can be done by cash, check made payable to TCKC, or PayPal. If paying by PayPal, a receipt must be shown to the fee collector.

Scent Work Classes

There are 2 levels of scent work classes both of which are taught by Tina Vickrey. Level 1 is Intro to Scent Work, level 2 is Intro to Odor. Each class is 6 weeks consecutively. The fee for each level is $160 for nonmembers, $140 for members, and $80 for junior handlers. These classes are offered on Wednesday nights as well, usually at 5:30 p.m. These classes are limited to approximately 6 students; please contact Tina V. for openings before paying.

March

We have made the difficult decision to cancel our March Fast CAT and Coursing Ability events on 3/9-10/24 due to the continuing wet and stormy weather leading to potentially hazardous field conditions. Safety is our main priority for all the dogs and humans involved.

May

We will again be clustering with Gold Country KC for 4 days of doggy fun!  TCKC shows May 11-12, 2024, and Gold Country KC shows May 9-10, 2024!  We still celebrate our Brood Bitches on Mother's Day.  We will be adding specialties for German Wire-Haired Pointers and Wire-Haired Pointing Griffons as well as the Samoyeds and Irish Red and White Setters. We will again be offering Obedience and Rally all 4 days. The FSS Open Shows will be back again in 2024!!!.

Our theme is "The Best Little Country Show in California." Casual country-western attire is is encouraged for the TCKC shows on Saturday and Sunday.

We are pleased to offer our Coursing weekend again with 1 Fast CAT and 1 Coursing Ability event each day on Saturday, 11/16/24, and Sunday, 11/17/24. These events will be at a sheep and cattle ranch in Sutter, CA. The premium list and entry form are attached here. Payment can be made via PayPal (below) with the entry form emailed to Karen at pkobrogan@syix.com or by check made payable to TCKC and mailed with the entry form to P. Karen McDonnell, 3415 Oro Dam Blvd. E., Space 418, Oroville, CA 95966. Entries are not valid until the completed entry form is received and fees are paid.
